Abstract

The article is devoted to the optimization of information system resources by quantitative factor. This optimization is carried out in the local issue of calculating rational volumes of information. For this purpose, the mathematical formulation of a local task for optimizing resources of the information system was formulated by a quantitative criterion. The fulfillment of the task begins with the construction of information structures, which are oriented connected graphs. The vertices of graphs are macro-level interaction tasks, which carry out information exchange between system resources and external sources, and arcs are information flows. Correspondingly, macro level tasks are related oriented subgraphs, the vertices of which are the tasks of the interaction of the microlevel, providing the exchange of information flows between the system resources, and arcs are information flows. The tasks of the interaction of the macro level and the micro level are divided into three types: sources-resources, which collect, prepare and transmit information; transit-resources that process and transmit information; users-resources. Information from external sources and the task of macro level interaction is considered both in the direction from sources to users, and vice versa. The tasks of the microlevel interaction directly output or receive information from other elements of the network. The rest of the microlevel tasks form, process, or use information that functions within the system. The problem is solved by calculating rational volumes of information and entering them into the description of resources of the information system.
