DIGITAL LITERACY OF THE POPULATION AS THE FOUNDATION OF THE DIGITALIZATION OF THE STATE

Abstract

Digital transformations as a global trend today in Ukraine. The state strives for integration into the Single Information Space of the European Union. The development of digital technologies is the reality of the modern world. Actual digitalization of many spheres - education, health care, social protection, banking sector, taxes, etc. An important stage of innovative changes is the development of digital literacy among the population, namely the understanding of digitization processes at a level that is understandable for everyone. "Number" should become a convenient tool for every Ukrainian. This is one of the most important tasks of digital transformation.

Digitization as a defining trend in the development of human civilization is aimed at creating more convenient management processes, simplifying access to services in the fields of education,health care, public services, etc. This is facilitated by the rapid development of the Internet, mobile communications, various online services, which has a positive effect on social and economic activity.

Digital transformation is defined as a priority policy of Ukraine in the coming years. According to experts, it can become a future powerful "engine" of the country's economy.

Digital literacy of the population is the foundation in the processes of digitization of the country. The Ministry of Digital Transformation of Ukraine launched the national online platform "Action. Digital education" with the aim of acquiring digital skills by every citizen of Ukraine. Digital literacy involves the effective and safe use of modern digital technologies in work, education, professional and personal development.
